DAI5Y is in high spirits today with the excitement of Girl’s Day’s 1st win! We want to celebrate Girl’s Day’s win and after much thought we decided on a very meaningful gift. We are planning to send a rice wreath to Girl’s Day on Sunday, July 14th when they will receive their award from Inkigayo.
Some may be familiar with fanclubs sending rice wreaths to commemorate different occasions but for those who may not we will explain. The rice wreath is a rice donation to a charity organization in Girl’s Day’s name, and it will benefit families in need. Girl’s Day and Dream Tea will specify whom the donation will benefit. We are planning to use Dreame for this project since many overseas fanclubs have been happy with their service.
We at Girl’s Day Daily would love to invite all who can and would like to join in this support. Although it is short notice we are optimistic that this will be a successful project. Starting today we are accepting donations for the rice wreath. We will add the names of those who donated (personal or Girl’s Day fansite) on the photo provided with the rice wreath.
Here is an example of the rice wreath that will be donated.
Product Description: The DREAME rice wreath with 2 Ribbons
- Ribbons: Left – Cheer Message (TBD) / Right – Girl’s Day Daily
- Photo (A4) of Girl’s Day: This is where we will include all donor’s names.
- 20kg of Rice: Depending on funds we can add units of 10 or 20kg.
Details: Based on Dreame’s official website, a 20kg rice wreath (rice only) is worth $54 USD, for special rice wreath with congratulatory ribbon it’s $90 USD. If you would like to know more info about Dreame check out their official website.
Deadline: July 11 (We will order the rice wreath on July 12.)
Goal: $450 USD or 140kg (Approx. 309lbs) of rice
Since this is a short notice support we know this is an ambitious goal, but as the famous quote goes “Shoot for the stars but if you happen to miss shoot for the moon instead.” Any amount donated to this cause will do great good and will be a special way of celebrating Girl’s Day’s achievement. The rice wreath will impact others in a positive way and what better way to express our love and support to Girl’s Day.
We look forward to honoring Girl’s Day with this special gift!
