My name is 민아. 본명은 방민아다.

1993년 5월 13일에 태어났다. 언니가 한 명 있고, 10년 동안 키운 강아지가 한 마리 있다. 다들 똥개다, 잡종이다 하는데 맞긴 하지만…. 예쁘니까 아니라고 말하고 싶다. 단지 시츄랑 말티즈가 믹스됐을 뿐이다. 얼굴도 짜부라져 있고 진짜 예쁘다.

귀엽다는 이야기를 자주 듣는데 진짜 이건 인정 못 한다. 아니, 인정하기 싫다. 물론 귀엽다는 말이 감사하긴 하지만. 헤헤헤헤. 내가 꿈꾸는 이상향은 따로 있다. (유라: 지금 자기가 못 가진 걸 갖고 싶은 겨.) 왜, 왜 못 가져요? 내 생각엔, 이번 앨범 활동을 통해서 내가 꿈꾸는 모습에 한발을 더 내디딘 것 같다.

우리 멤버들은 다들 먹는 걸 좋아한다. 그저께도 닭발을 먹었다. 몸매 관리를 해야 하니까 회사에서 제재할 때도 있는데, 사실 몰래 먹는다. 왜냐하면 먹었는지 안 먹었는지 모르니까! 하하하. (혜리: 다 알아.) 다 알아? 안 되는데. 진짜 많이 먹었는데.

유라 언니는 애정표현을 굉장히 격하게 한다. 레슬링을 하는데, 바닥에다가 나를 깔아뭉개고 막 간지럽힌다. 정도껏 하면 그냥 웃으면서 넘어갈 수 있는데, 계속하니까 나중에는 너무 괴로워서 울게 된다. 언니랑 장난을 치다가 바닥에 머리를 쾅 부딪쳐서 엥- 하고 운 적도 있다. (유라: 그때 “닭강정 사줄게 미안해~” 이렇게 달랬지.)

팬들을 생각하다가 방송에서 운 적이 있다. 항상 감사함과 죄송한 마음을 가지고 있지만, 그 날 따라 소진 언니가 팬들에 관한 이야기를 너무 잘하는 거다. 옆에서 듣고 있다가 ‘아이고’ 하면서 눈물이 났다. 팬들 얼굴도 하나하나 다 떠오르고 구호까지 막 생각나더라.

이번에 흑발로 바꾼 것도 팬들 때문이다. 예전에 무슨 촬영을 하다가 검은색으로 염색한 적이 있는데, 팬 분들이 “그 때의 흑민아를 다시 보고 싶다”고 하셔서 한번 해봤다. 이번 콘셉트에 어울릴 것 같기도 했고. 우하하핫! 가끔 ‘앗, 이걸 하면 팬들이 좋아하겠지?’ 싶은 건 시도해보는 편이다.

포미닛 선배님들이 ‘볼륨 업’을 부르실 때 입었던 의상이 정말 부러웠다. 쉬폰으로 솩~ 무장을 했는데 우와, 진짜 엄청나게 예쁜 거다. 걷기만 해도 여신처럼 바람이 샥- 지나가더라. 이것도 내가 꿈꾸는 이상향의 모습 중 하나라고 할 수 있다.

옷을 잘못 사 와서 엄마한테 혼난 적이 있다. 뭣도 모를 때 만화를 많이 봐서 코스프레 의상 같은 걸 좋아했는데, 그 영향으로 공주풍 드레스를 샀다. 그걸 엄마한테 걸려서 다 찢길 뻔했다. 하하하하. 그날 이후로 공포증이 생겨서 뭘 못 샀지만, 지금은 떨어져 살다 보니 내 마음대로 막 사고 있다.

최근에 휴대폰을 도둑맞았다. 홍대에서 친구랑 파스타를 먹고 길거리를 걸어가는데, 갑자기 어떤 남자 분이 옆에 딱 달라붙더니 “저기요, 잠깐만요” 이러는 거다. “괜찮습니다” 하고 도망갔다가 카페에 가서 휴대폰을 꺼내려고 하는데 없었다. 아마 그 분이 가져가신 것 같다. 경고까지는 아니고, 한 마디 하자면…. 진짜 돈 드릴 테니까 일단 돌려주세요…. 어쨌든 폰이 없어졌으니 아이폰5를 예약해놨다. (유라: 계획된 일 아니야? 폰이 멀쩡한데 바꿔달라고 하면 부모님께 혼날 것 같으니까, 잃어버렸다고 한 거지. 친구 줬을끼야. 타이밍이 수상해!)

I was born in 1993 March 13th. I have an older sister and a dog that our family raised for 10 years. People say that it’s a mixed race dog, Practically they’re right but no matter what I think my dog is cute.

It’s just Maltese and Shih Tzu mixed. The dog’s face is a little bit squished but it’s the cutest.

People say you’re cute?
I don’t agree with this really. No I don’t want to admit this. Of course, I’m so thankful that people love me. :) hehehe

But, I have another impression that I want to appeal to fans

Why? Why? Can’t I have that impression? I think I had one step forward to what I had in mind.

Our members like to eat. We ate a chicken dish yesterday. Sometimes Dream Tea Entertainment tells us not to eat too much because we have to keep in shape, but to be honest we eat anyway. No one knows we ate hahaha. (Hyeri: They know.) They do? That’s not good because we ate a lot.

Yura expresses her love with a little bit of violence. She wrestles with me, she holds me down on the floor and tickles me. If it’s not too hard I would smile but when she does this too much, I start to cry. I even cried when I bumped my head wrestling with her.

I once cried in front of the camera, thinking about fans. I have multiple feelings for fans, Thankful, Sorry..

When Sojin started to talk about our fans so well, I listened beside her and “aww..” tears dropped.

It reminded me of my fans, their faces, slogans, etc.

The reason why I changed to black hair this single is because of fans. I once had black hair for a photoshoot, fans said “I wanna see that black Minah once again”. So I changed to black hair. It seemed to fit our concept Don’t Forget Me too. hahahaha! Once in a while I do things that fans think will be good for me.

I was so envious of the chiffon dress when 4minute sang “Volume Up”. They were so pretty when they walked through the stage. They looked like a venus. This is one of the ideal impressions that I want to appeal.

I once got a scolding from my mom. I like cartoons, I saw cartoons since I was little so I liked costume play outfits and stuff because of that influence, one day I bought a dress that looked like a princess. My mom saw it and she almost ripped off the dress. hahahaha. Now my mom and I don’t live together during this time, so I buy whatever I want.

Recently, my cell phone was stolen. I was walking Hongdae (Street of Hongik University, Seoul Korea) with my friend after eating pasta, some guy walked up close to me and said “Excuse me wait,” I said “It’s ok” and got out of that situation. After that I went to a cafe and looked in my pocket for my cell phone (Iphone 4s), there was nothing.

I assume that the guy stole my cell phone. It’s not a warning or anything but I want to say please give it back to me. I’ll pay you… anyway my phone’s missing so I booked for an Iphone5.

(Yura: Maybe this was all planned out in the first place. If Minah asks her parent to change her smartphone even if the phone is alright and still great, they’ll say no. So she wanted to make an excuse for changing smartphones. Maybe she gave her Iphone 4s to her friend. Timing is very suspicous!)
