My name is 혜리. 본명은 이혜리다.

1994년 6월 9일에 태어났다. 걸스데이에서는 막내지만, 실제로는 여동생 한 명을 둔 맏언니다.

팀에서 별명은 늙은이, 혹은 할매다. (민아: 우리가 항상 76년생이라고 불러요.) 팬들은 혜저씨(혜리+아저씨) 혹은 혜줌마(혜리+아줌마)라고도 부른다. 다른 멤버들 별명을 폭로하자면 유라 언니는 초딩, 소진 언니는 아가공주다. 히힛.

내년에는 대학교에 입학하는데 사실 로망은 별로 없다. 대학교에 가서 뭘 해보고 싶다 이런 것보다는, 활동하느라 고등학교를 잘 못 다녀서 그냥 학교에 다니고 싶은 마음이 크다.

‘나를 잊지마요’ 뮤직비디오의 여주인공을 맡아서 멜로연기를 펼쳤다. 아하하하하. 촬영하기 전날 그 사실을 알았는데, 감독님께서 여러 가지를 생각하시다가 풋풋한 게 좋겠다 싶어서 그렇게 결정했다고 하시더라. 그래서 내가 별로 풋풋하진 않지만 팀 내 유일한 고등학생인 관계로 주인공을 맡게 된 거다. 진짜 내 교복을 가져와서 입고 찍었다. 여성스럽거나 소녀 같은 건 아직도 어색하긴 하다.

유라 언니와 함께 걸스데이에 늦게 합류했다. 하지만 원래 성격이 무던한 편이어서 그런지 소진 언니나 민아 언니가 무섭고 그런 건 없었다. (민아: 자기만 몰랐나봐. 헤헤헤.) 눈치 줬는데 나 혼자 모르고 막 생글생글 웃었던 거야? 그땐 내가 너무 어렸고, 그래서 내 딴에는 “언니~ 언니~” 이러면서 살갑게 굴었던 것 같다. 어쨌든 난 만족하니까. 하하.

아무거나 다 먹는 편이다. 음식이니까 먹다 보면 다 먹을 만하다. (소진: 진짜 잡식이에요. 얘는 개띠가 정말 확실하다니까.) 소진 언니는 다 잘 먹지만 비위가 좀 약하고, 민아 언니는 맛있는 것만 먹으면서 소식한다. 딱 살 수 있는 정도만 먹는다. “언니, 밥 안 먹어요?” 하면 늘 먹었다고 말한다.

다이어리를 일하는 것처럼 꼬박꼬박 쓴다. 이제 2년을 채웠는데, 내가 생각해도 좀 대단한 것 같다. 어허허허허. 데뷔 초에는 쓰다가도 앨범 준비에 들어가면 바쁘니까 몇 달씩 빠뜨렸는데, 올해는 하나도 빠짐없이 다 썼다. 예전에 썼던 일기들은 가끔 뒤적거리긴 하는데 창피해서 못 보겠다. 당연히 언니들한테도 보여줄 수 없다. (소진: 스티커를 이만~큼 모아서 거실에 쫙 편 다음 다이어리에 깨알 같이 붙이고, 색깔 펜으로 글씨도 쓰고 그래요. 땀 흘리면서 뭘 막 오리고.) 내년 다이어리는 아직 못 샀는데, 곧 사야지.

웹툰을 자주 본다. 옛날에는 강풀 작가님 작품을 많이 봤고, 요즘은를 본다. 아이유 선배님도 보신다던데, 내가 먼저 봤을 거다! 히히힛. 이 작품은 마냥 재밌기만 한 게 아니라, 삶이 녹아있다. (소진: 지금 너 거의 독고진 같애.) ‘집 나가면 고생이다’라는 교훈을 얻을 수가 있다.

클럽처럼 시끄러운 분위기를 별로 좋아하지 않는다. 얼마 전 퍼퓸 콘서트에 갔을 때 처음에는 되게 신났는데, 일렉트로닉 음악만 두 시간을 내리 들으니까 좀 지치더라. 그래서 연말에도 어디 가는 것보다는 언니들이랑 숙소에서 파티하고 싶다. 케이크랑 고기 먹으면서.

크리스마스 때 숙소에 트리를 설치하는 건 절대 반대다. 크리스마스 지나면 놓을 데도 없을 테니까. 지금 회사에서 가져온 이만큼 큰 곰인형도 베란다에 놓여있다. (유라: 그거… 처음엔 침대에서 키운 거야.) 이렇게 그냥 내버려둘 거면 왜 가져왔나 싶다. 휴.

I was in charge of being the female main character of the “Don’t Forget Me” MV, so my melodramatic acting skills unfolded. Ahahahaha. I knew the fact that I would be the main character the day before the shoot. The director thought it would be good to go with a “fresh” image and like that, he made up his mind [to choose me]. Although I’m not really that “fresh”, as the team’s only High Schooler, I became the female main lead. I actually brought my own uniform, wore it, and shot the video. I’m still awkward when it come to acting like a lady-like/feminine girl.

Yura unnie and I were late joining Girl’s Day. But their personalities have always been on the easygoing side so that’s why Sojin and Minah unnie weren’t scary or anything. (Minah: I guess I’m the only one who didn’t know. Hehehe.) They would glance at me, but I didn’t know and [by myself] kept smiling crazily. I was so young back then, I thought saying “Unnie~ unnie~” affectionately was how I should behave. At any rate, I’m satisfied. Haha.

I tend to eat anything. Because it’s food, everything is worth eating. (Sojin: She really is an omnivore. This kid is the Year of the Dog, I’m sure of it.) Sojin unnie eats everything well, but she has a bit of a weak stomach; Minah unnie only eats delicious things and eats like a bird. She really eats just enough to live. Every time we eat I always say, “Unnie, aren’t you going to eat?”.

Like working on a diary, I write regularly. 2 years have been filled now. I feel like it’s rather amazing when I think about it. Ohohohoho. At the second of debut, I also wrote. When we began album preparations we were busy so I missed several months. But this year, without leaving anything out, I wrote everything. Sometimes I browse through diary entries I wrote in the past but they are so embarrassing I can’t look at them. Of course, I can’t show them to unnies either. I haven’t bought next year’s diary yet, but I should buy it soon.

I read webtoons often. In the past I read lots of works by the author “Kang Full”, but these days I’m reading GoSam Left Home. I heard IU sunbaenim also reads it, but I read it first! Hehehe. It’s not only that this is a fun piece of work, life is melting away. (Sojin: You are practically just like Dok Ko Jin right now.) “If you leave home you will have a hard time”…this is a lesson you can take away from it.

I don’t really like loud, club-like atmospheres. Not too long ago when I went to a Perfume concert, at first I was really excited. But listening to electronic music for 2 hours in a row was a bit exhausting. So at the end of the year, rather than going to some other place, I want to have a party with unnies in the dorm, eating cake and meat.

During Christmas, in our dorms, we never take our tree down. When Christmas passes there isn’t anywhere to put it. Right now at the company there’s a big teddy bear out on the veranda. (Yura: That…at first it was being raised on the bed.) If you were just going to abandon it like this, why did you want to bring it? Phew.
