[UPDATE] GDD Forum Changes and Blog Focus

The GDD forum was officially launched on July 6, 2011 and in these past two months the team has been able to observe what’s best for the site and what adjustments need to be made. You may ask, how does this affect me? Well, the changes aren’t too drastic, you will still be able to enjoy all your favorite parts about the forum.
 
The changes really only affect the team because it will allow us to focus more of our time and energy on the blog, which has always been our first priority. These sections have been omitted from the forum; Daily News, Daily Updates (Girl’s Day & Individual Members), GsD Style and Lyrics. Don’t worry, these can still be found on the blog and from now on we will post these only here on the blog.
 
At this time, we are also looking into an alternative for posting excess pictures in a gallery, instead of on the forum. Of course you all can still share pictures and videos on the forum for discussion. A gallery will enable the team to keep the blog and forum looking neat, so the site is not overwhelmed with tons of updates from the same event. We will update you all further if or when this change occurs.
 
As you may have noticed, we’ve already gone ahead with a big change on the forum. We went back to posting DOWNLOAD LINKS only on the blog, however many expressed that they prefer to download from both. The uploading team has discussed this and we will now post Download Links on both blog and forum, even if this means a little extra work. It’s worthwhile to provide GDD members with every opportunity to enjoy Girl’s Day videos.
 
The GDD Team would like to thank everyone for their support of Girl’s Day and this site. We enjoy the work we do because we love seeing the DAI5Y community grow. We are determined to continue making improvements on the blog, so that GDD continues to be a great source for everything Girl’s Day!
